HATESPHERE: Performance Footage Of Two New Songs Available

June 12, 2008

Danish thrashers HATESPHERE have issued the following update:

"Recording new material: Mid-June we will enter Antfarm Studios here in rhus, Denmark, together with Tue Madsen (who also mixed our two latest albums) to record two new tracks. This will be the first recordings to feature the new lineup, and Tue will mix the whole lot, so it will be ready in the end of June. So for all of you who are anxious to hear the new material the wait is over. Expect to hear the first samples beginning of July! For the impatient ones check out these two YouTube videos of the new songs (see below).

Festival update: A couple of new festivals have been added to our summer tour calendar. On June 14th HATESPHERE will play Russia for the first time headlining the Rock Palace Open Air in Pushkin. As Jakob [Nyholm; guitar] is not able to go out of family reasons, we have called in our old partner in crime, Heinz, who will do the show with us. But fear not, Jakob is back already the weekend after where we will play the Queens of Metal Open Air in Kleinwenkheim, Germany. Furthermore, June will also feature our first show in five years in Portugal, as we will headline the Metal GDL festival in Grandola. We really can't wait to go back there! Check our tour dates section for all HATESPHERE festivals activities during the summer."

HATESPHERE was honored in the "Hard Rock" category at the annual Danish Music Awards (the Danish Grammy Awards equivalent). The 40th Danish Music Awards show was held on February 23 at Tivoli in Copenhagen, Denmark and was broadcast live on MySpace.

HATESPHERE entered the national chart in Denmark at position No. 26 with the group's latest release, "Serpent Smiles and Killer Eyes". The CD was mixed by Tue Madsen at Antfarm studios in rhus, Denmark.
